Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made from TrackTyres, operated by TECHNIK MOTOR PARTS LIMITED, trading as TrackTyres.

By placing an order with us, you agree to these terms. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

1. Our details

Our current contact details are available on our Contact page.

2. Products

We make reasonable efforts to ensure product descriptions, sizes, compounds, specifications and images are accurate.

Manufacturers may occasionally change product specifications, markings, tread patterns or packaging without notice.

Customers are responsible for selecting the correct tyre size, specification and compound for their vehicle and intended use. If you are unsure, please contact us before ordering.

3. Motorsport tyres

Many products sold by TrackTyres are designed for track, competition or high-performance use.

Motorsport tyres may behave differently from conventional road tyres, particularly in relation to operating temperature, wet-weather performance, tread depth, wear rate and expected service life.

Some products may be approved for road use and others may not. Customers must ensure that the tyres they purchase are suitable and lawful for their intended use.

Tyres should be fitted by a competent tyre fitter and used with appropriate wheel sizes, pressures and vehicle setup.

Nothing in this section removes any statutory rights relating to faulty or incorrectly supplied goods.

4. Prices

All consumer prices displayed on our website are in euro and include VAT where applicable, unless stated otherwise.

Where applicable, the statutory tyre recycling contribution, vEMC, is included in the displayed tyre price and may be shown separately in the cart, checkout or invoice.

Delivery charges are shown separately before an order is completed.

If we discover an obvious pricing error, we may contact you before dispatch to allow you to confirm or cancel the order.

5. Orders and payment

Orders are subject to availability and acceptance.

Payment may be made using the payment methods offered at checkout or otherwise agreed for telephone or manual orders.

We may cancel and refund an order where stock is unavailable, payment cannot be authorised, fraud is suspected, or an obvious product or pricing error has occurred.

6. Delivery and collection

We deliver to the areas shown on our website and checkout.

Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to stock availability, courier delays or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

If an order is unexpectedly delayed, we will contact you where reasonably possible.

Free collection may be available from our premises by prior arrangement.

For consumer orders, responsibility for the goods remains with us until they are delivered to you or to a person nominated by you, except where you independently arrange your own carrier.

7. Cancellations and returns

Consumers purchasing online or by phone generally have the right to cancel their order within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason.

After notifying us of cancellation, the goods must normally be returned within a further 14 days. Unless the goods are faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied, the customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning them.

Returned goods should be handled only as much as reasonably necessary to inspect them. A refund may be reduced where goods have been used or handled beyond what is necessary and their value has been reduced.

The statutory cancellation right may not apply to goods made specifically to a customer's individual requirements or clearly personalised.

Further details are set out in our Returns & Refunds Policy.

8. Faulty, damaged or incorrect goods

If goods are faulty, damaged, not as described or incorrectly supplied, please contact us as soon as possible.

Consumer goods must conform to the sales contract, and statutory remedies may include repair, replacement, price reduction or refund depending on the circumstances.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits your statutory consumer rights.

9. Refunds

Where a refund is due, it will normally be made using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.

Where a consumer validly cancels an online or telephone order, the refund will include the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option, where applicable. Extra costs resulting from choosing a more expensive delivery method may not be refundable.

10. Business customers

If you purchase from us wholly or mainly for business, trade, motorsport team or commercial purposes, consumer cancellation rights may not apply.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

11. Website and product availability

We may update prices, products, stock levels and website content from time to time.

Adding an item to your basket does not reserve stock.

12. Privacy

Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

13. Governing law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by Irish law.

If you are a consumer, nothing in this section removes any mandatory rights you may have under applicable consumer law.
